The Hartland Fire Department is located at 316 Main Street.

It is comprised of more than 30 well-trained and highly dedicated volunteer members. When not fighting fires, the members stay busy with fundraisers for fire vehicles and equipment such as their 50/50 draws and firemen breakfasts. 

The department's Junior Firefighters program teaches youth basic firefighting techniques and procedures while introducing them to the equipment, preparing them to join the department one day.
